IV Lounge Diabetes Panel
Tests Include: CBC, CMP, A1c, Urinalysis
CBC: Checks hemoglobin, hematocrit, red blood cells (RBC), white blood cells (WBC), and platelets. This test is commonly used to assess anemia, infection, and other illnesses involving the blood.
A1c: HbA1c, Glycohemoglobin, or Glycated hemoglobin, indicates how manageable the diabetic condition is. Even though you may have some very high or very low blood glucose values, Hemoglobin A1C will indicate the average amount of glucose in your blood over a specific period of time.
Urinalysis: This panel evaluates conditions such as urinary tract infection, dehydration, and kidney stones.
CMP: A broad screening test used to evaluate organ function and electrolyte balance as well as aid in the diagnosis of conditions such as diabetes, liver disease, and kidney disease. This test examines the current functions of the Liver and Kidneys as well as your body’s levels of calcium, electrolytes, and glucose.
